Born and raised in Johannesburg, Dr Candice Bowes is a qualified chiropractor with a Master’s Degree in Chiropractic (MTech) from the University of Johannesburg (2018). She is registered with the AHPCSA, BHF, and CASA.
Candice is known for her big energy, genuine care, and deep commitment to her patients. She listens and takes the time to understand what’s really going on, not just the symptoms. Her approach combines strong clinical knowledge with practical, personalised treatment plans that support both short-term relief and long-term results.
She has a special interest in sports chiropractic and paediatric care, working with athletes, families, pregnant moms, and babies. With a background in competitive sport and experience treating a wide range of athletes, she understands the body from both a performance and recovery perspective.

Dr Bowes has made a massive difference to my health over the past 3+ years that I have been her patient. Dr Candice Bowes is the best Chiropractor I have ever been treated by! She is extremely knowledgeable, takes the time to explain things to you and never makes you feel rushed. If you are uncertain about neck adjustments or dry needling (like I was at first), she will gently explain her process and make you feel super comfortable before she proceeds.
She is so caring, gentle and friendly to her patients (I know a few of her other patients and we all agree on that fact!). She was recommended to me by a friend of mine and I will never go to anyone else because I just don't think anyone could compare to her high standard.

As a makeup artist and hairstylist, I have been seeing Dr Candice Bowes for chiropractic treatments since 2022 and she is phenomenal. She is an engaging doctor with a brilliant bedside manner. She puts you at ease while administering effective and thorough chiropractic treatments. She is also measured in her approach and is responsible in the way that she treats patients with comorbidities. The new integration of AI to her practice allows her to maintain a seamless system of record keeping. I've received treatments from her throughout my pregnancy and she also treated my newborn. When your daughter, who is a Chiropractor, goes to live in the UK what do you do? You go to Dr Candice. Candice is simply wonderful. She explains her methods to you, how to sit correctly, sleep correctly and even what to do when doing my crotchet to support my dodgy neck and back. I took my 7 week old baby to Candice because she was suffering with bad reflux and horrible crying spells. it was the first time I've ever been to a chiropractor and it was just such an amazing experiance! from all the tips she gave me during the consultation to her working on my baby, I highly recomend her and my little girl was such a happy baby after that. I would highly recommend, Candice! As a health practitioner myself, I am quite fussy about who I trust, but Dr Bowes put me at ease right from the first consultation with her knowledge and professionalism.
